Take control of your vaginal health today.

  1. How often should I use Luvena® Vaginal Moisturizer?

Every woman is different. On average once every three days, but it is safe enough to use on a daily basis especially during times of discomfort.

  2. Can I use Luvena whilst I am on my period?

    Yes, absolutely.

  3. Can I use Luvena whilst pregnant?

Yes, but if you have any concerns please speak to your healthcare professional

  4. What does pH-balanced mean?

The pH number measures on a scale of 0-14. Anything below 7 is acidic and anything above 7 is considered alkaline. Luvena is specially formulated to the correct pH for the vagina.

  5. Why is pH important?

pH is important because it keeps the flora in the vagina in a balanced state. When this is not in an optimum range one can experience irritation, infections, itching and odor issues.

  6. Does Luvena expire?

Yes, Luvena is preservative free so will expire but has a shelf life of approximately two years.

  7. Can Luvena be used as a contraceptive?

No. While Luvena can be used in conjunction with condoms, IUD’s and the contraceptive pill, none of our Luvena range will offer any help preventing pregnancy.

  8. What are Parabens?

Methylparaben and Ethylparabens are preservatives (antibacterial agents) that may disrupt the flora of the vagina. Also, the long term effects of parabens are in question. Luvena® Vaginal Moisturizer is paraben free.

  9. Why is Luvena glycerin free and why is this important?

Glycerin is in a family known as sugar alcohols and is slippery to the touch and sweet to the taste. Using Glycerin based products may lead to an increase in harmful yeast in the vagina, because Glycerin can be a food source for these single celled organisms.
